Northwest Dyslexia Resources was started by Cathy Wyrick in 2017.  She wanted an organization that would offer training and resources for people affected by dyslexia and those who want to learn more about helping those impacted by dyslexia.  We are also a community of people committed to alleviating the impact of dyslexia on families by offering training, tutoring resources and support.

Cathy is an accredited Fellow of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators.  She has trained people in the Orton-Gillingham method for over 20 years.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization.
